The site includes an area for community gatherings, where vinagers meet on the 14th of each month. They chose that date because the village name, Jushiyama means "14 mountains. They wanted a reminder of their roots since the village merged with the neighboring town of Yatomi on Saturday. Fresh Boston lettuce and other plants floating in bowls of water decorate shelves. An oddly shaped daikon sticks out of a glass vase.
